Overview
Olaf Pyttlik has work at DACAPO since 1998. He has written, recorded and produced original music for television, theatre and advertising. He is also a FOX approved composer, having written music for the Ice Age franchise. (ICE AGE ON ICE is an Arena ice show touring Canada and the US in 2016–2017.)
In addition, Olaf has produced and recorded Juno and Grammy nominated recording artists and taught music at both the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba.

Ice Age On Ice is a touring arena ice show based on the FOX property ‘Ice Age’ featuring a cast of 40 skaters and full orchestral soundtrack. It is playing in approximately 60 North American cities in 2016/2017.

Mike the Knight is a popular CGI-animated series from HIT Entertainment and Nelvana Studios, which has aired in over 120 territories. KOBA created a childrens’ musical with original songs composed and arranged by Olaf Pyttlik
The Last Tree of Rapa Nui

Rapa Nui tells the story of how people deforested Easter Island until life was unsustainable. It is a poignant and relevant real-life parable about why we have to take care of our planet today. The show toured Manitoba schools in the fall of 2011 and was part of the MTYP mainstage season in January of 2012.
Quo Vadis
An original period musical
Premiered as part of the 2014 Winnipeg Fringe Festival. Has been supported by the Manitoba Theatre Centre. Book written by Angus Kohm. Original music and lyrics by Olaf Pyttlik. Based on the book by Henryk Sienkiewicz.
Quo Vadis is an original period musical about the struggle between Nero’s Roman Empire and the relatively new Christian religion.
The Wave
An original rock musical
Premiered as part of the 2001- 2002 mainstage season of the Manitoba Theatre Centre
Book and music by Olaf Pyttlik. Based on a short story by Ron Jones.
An estimated 30,000 people watched performances of The Wave mounted by the Manitoba Theatre Centre. The musical has subsequently been translated into German and Dutch and has been mounted in the USA, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Rich
An original musical for youth
Premiered as part of the 2008 season of the Manitoba Theatre for Young People
Book written by Vern Thiessen. Original music and lyrics by Olaf Pyttlik. Directed by Ron Jenkins. Based on a book by James Kruss.
An estimated 29,000 people watched performances of RICH mounted by the Manitoba Theatre for Young People. The musical has subsequently been translated into Dutch and will be mounted in the Netherlands in 2011.
